Dr. William Midodzi is an assistant professor (Clinical epidemiology) at the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland. In 2007, he received his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences-Public Health Sciences ( with specialization in respiratory epidemiology and biostatistics) from the University of Alberta, Edmonton. His postdoctoral training at the Department of Medicine, University of Alberta (2008-2010) involved cardiopulmonary disease management research among primary care physicans in Edmonton and Saskatoon. His main research interests are in areas of chronic cardiopulmonary diseases, community-pharmacy health intervention models, rural health, clinical trial methods, and applied health statistics.
