Matthew Kerby is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. He researches broadly in the area of legislative and executive studies in the Canadian and comparative contexts. Specific research applications include the following: legislative party switching, elite career paths, political scandals, ministerial turnover and representation. Teaching interests include comparative politics (Western democracies), comparative political institutions and research methods.
